Our mission
We provide safe, inclusive and transformative spaces for refugees to learn, create and produce artistic and livelihood-based work through arts education, creative production and skills training.

Creative practice with a practical purpose.
Our work connects expression with opportunity, making room for people to build confidence, community and income on their own terms.
Safe spaces
Welcoming studios and workshops where young people and marginalized artists can meet, experiment and be heard.
Real skills
Hands-on learning in performance, film, design, beadwork and craft production led by community practitioners.
Shared income
Creative products, commissions and showcases that help artists turn talent into dignified livelihood pathways.

From Kakuma, outward
Local talent deserves a wider stage.
Free Block Creatives is building a platform for refugee artists to shape their own narratives. We bring together creative education, production and enterprise so that a workshop can become a performance, a product or a new possibility.
Every project begins with listening to the community and grows through collaboration with artists, partners and supporters.
